I’m Rutger Roodt, a registered architect in the Netherlands who has over five years of experience in architecture, specialized in retail design. I’ve been the lead architect for new stores of several famous brands like Gucci, New Balance & Swarovski.
I am an MSc. architecture graduate at TU Delft Hyperbody studio and graduated in parametric design and computation. My international study experience is the direct result of my constant curiosity and explorers mentality. That same mentality led me to explore experimental and pioneering techniques, like my graduation project on floating architecture.
Studio ROODT is all about making something unique and innovative, pushing the limits. Creating something with its own style and identity. Not a grey mass, but an individual. An individual wanting to make a statement. A statement that boundaries can be pushed, as long as you believe it. These are the values standing for TRUE innovation and creativity.
